“Every great innovation starts with a spark. Innoverse was our way of turning that spark into a flame.”
When we launched Innoverse, the vision was clear, create a structured, time-bound innovation program where promising ideas could grow into tangible solutions with the right mentorship, resources, and focus. We wanted it to be more than a competition; we wanted it to be an accelerator for real impact.
The Vision Behind Innoverse
The idea for Innoverse was born out of a simple observation:
Many students and early-stage innovators have incredible ideas but lack the structure, mentorship, and environment to take them from concept to reality.
We set out to create:
- A 6-week innovation sprint for idea validation and MVP building.
- Access to industry mentors who could guide technical and strategic decisions.
- A collaborative space for learning, testing, and growing.
The Call for Applications
We announced Innoverse to student innovators and early founders, outlining:
- Who can apply: Students, innovators, and early-stage founders with a problem-solving idea.
- What they get: Mentorship, resources, and structured guidance.
- What’s expected: Commitment to build and present a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in 6 weeks.
Applications began pouring in. After reviewing the submissions and conducting initial discussions, we shortlisted two promising teams for our first-ever cohort:
- Englishly – Focused on bridging language gaps with innovative learning solutions.
- AdaptEd – A SaaS-based immersive learning tool designed for healthcare professionals to navigate real-world cultural complexities.
The Kick off – June 16, 2025
The energy was palpable as we officially kicked off Cohort 1.
During the kickoff call:
- The program structure and timelines were shared.
- Teams met their mentors and support coordinators.
- Clear milestones for each week were established, from idea refinement to MVP presentation.
We made it clear: 6 weeks. Clear goals. Real outcomes.
Week-by-Week Journey
Week 1–2: Understanding the Problem & Defining the Solution
Teams worked closely with mentors to refine problem statements, research market needs, and finalize MVP features.
Week 3–4: Building the MVP
Hands-on work began. Mentors supported technical builds, solution architecture, and usability considerations.
Week 5: Testing & Feedback
Teams tested their MVPs internally, refining features based on mentor feedback and potential user experience.
Week 6: Final Presentation Prep
A standardized pitch deck template was shared. Teams consolidated their journey, results, and future plans into their final presentations.
The Grand Finale – July 26, 2025
After 6 weeks of hard work, Englishly and AdaptEd presented their MVPs to the Ignatiuz team and mentors.
The finale wasn’t just about showcasing the product — it was about telling the story of their journey:
- The problem they set out to solve.
- How their solution evolved over 6 weeks.
- Lessons learned and next steps.
It was a proud moment — not just for the teams, but for everyone involved in making Innoverse possible.
